Okay, it’s official. I’m completely hooked on the CW series, The 100. I don’t know how it happened. I liked the pilot but I wasn’t sold. I left the show alone for a while but right before this year’s WonderCon I decided to catch up. And I’m so incredibly thankful that I did. Why?

  • The action on the Ark and on Earth gets better and better every week.
  • I’ve become emotionally invested in the characters and anytime that happens? That means a show is golden for me.

  • From the very beginning I was captivated by what went on with the adults in the Ark. I wasn’t as wild with the earthly happenings. That’s totally changed. I’m now equally interested in both aspects of this series and how they connect.
  • Raven traveling from the Ark and joining the teens on earth is one of the best things to happen, in my opinion. I have seen episodes six and seven. So hopefully, you guys will end up loving this character as much as I do.

  • In the interest of honesty, there is one aspect of the story I don’t like and that’s Wells’ death. I was more devastated than I thought I would be. I am really upset that he’s gone. Below, creator and executive producer Jason Rothenberg (with The 100 star Eliza Taylor) talks about how he wants his show to be one that takes chances; and he addresses the decision to kill off Wells (played by Eli Goree)…

Tonight’s episode of The 100 features some backstory for both Bellamy and Octavia.

A synopsis for “His Sister’s Keeper”: Bellamy (Bob Morley) leads his crew into Grounder territory as they search for Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).  Raven (guest star Lindsey Morgan) can’t help but notice the deep connection between Finn (Thomas McDonell) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor).  Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal Bellamy’s and Octavia’s childhood on the Ark.  Paige Turco, Isaiah Washington, Henry Ian Cusick, Devon Bostick and Chris Larkin also star.  Wayne Rose directed the episode written by Tracy Bellomo & Dorothy Fortenberry

The 100 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on the CW.
