[Warning: General episode spoilers in images and preview.]
This week on Justified, things get brutal and deadly in equal measure. We find out Miller survived his hit and run from Dewey, as did Danny, and then we’re off to the races as Dewey tries to outwit his family, Raylan, and Boyd with a very limited set of resources. Kendal gets himself in trouble and turns to an unlikely friend but is back in the thick of it soon enough. Dickie Bennett resurfaces with info for Raylan and doesn’t take it well when Raylan calls his bluff.
Also look for:
- Danny to make a stupid gamble on his distance vs. knife wager.
- The Crowes to be divided.
- Darryl to spin violently when Wendy asserts herself.
- Wynn Duffy to bring in an outside consultant (played by Mary Steenburgen).
- Boyd to pay a visit to the guard who got Ava sent up.
- Ava to try to iron out her latest wrinkle on her own.
It’s a busy, busy hour, with more than a couple of squirm-inducing moments. Since it’s directed by a master of that, John Dahl, that’s not a huge surprise.
