Molly Quinn plays Alexis Castle on ABC’s Castle. She has really grown as the series has progressed. I really feel she has a maturity about her even though she is still a younger actress.
This year Molly got to do something a little different as far as her acting. She voiced Supergirl in the animated film Superman Unbound. Not only that, she attended WonderCon and dressed up as her character from Superman Unbound. I know in the past she has attended Comic Con as Nathan’s character from Firefly Maclom Reynolds.
I wasn’t too sure about the storyline this season with her new boyfriend, Pi. I did however like the episode “Like Father, Like Daughter” where she and Castle got to have some father/daughter time as well as work a case together.
Probably my favorite storyline was from last season and the two-parter of “Target” and “Hunt” where Alexis was kidnapped and taken to Paris. I loved how Molly got to have a bigger storyline for the character and show more dramatic scenes.
I love any of the storylines where she gets to interact with other characters like Beckett and Lanie, as we don’t get to see too much of that. I hope we get to see some of that in 2014.
I know Molly tries to set a good example for young girls and that’s a refreshing thing to see. Keep up the great work, Molly.
