Since I write about ABC’s Revenge every week, naturally, I’m thankful for the show. My ten reasons why:
10. This show keeps you on your toes
Every week you learn something new and even though there are different stories it’s interesting how they all are connected to our main character, Emily or should I say, the real Amanda Clarke.
9. The producers listen to the audience
Declan was annoying, gone! Tyler a scumbag, gone!
8. Aiden Mathis
He’s British and has an accent. What else do I really need to say?
7. The marriage of Conrad and Victoria
Could any two people loathe each other so much but stay in the same house together? Just the back and forth with these two is just so entertaining. They are a match made from hell and somehow they seem to survive everything.
6. The other supporting roles are interesting
Charlotte, Faux Amanda (may she rest in peace), Mason Treadwell, Frank Stevens, Lydia and many other people, some getting the red sharpie x treatment. Others are just collateral damage. Sorry, Father Paul.
5. Showing what will happen in the middle of the season on the first episode
This season it’s that Emily is going to be shot in a wedding gown. And we have been headed down this path since the beginning of the series. I love that you sort of know what’s going to happen or do you? Back in the pilot they had someone get shot but you didn’t see who it was. But I love the way the writers craft the journey of getting to that scene. It keeps you guessing.
4. The rivalry between Victoria and Emily
The fact that the two of them can totally say something incredibly mean but do it with a smile and a calm voice. Just the reactions they both have. That is some great acting.
3. Â Gabriel Mann aka Nolan
He has been a great side kick to Emily. He is funny and has some of the best lines in the show. Since he seems to like boys and girls, there are so many ways that the writers can go. One season being with a man, one season being with a woman and so on.  What is interesting about him? Even though he has more opportunities with dating, he seems to make mistakes every single time he falls for someone.
2. Jack Porter aka Nick Wechsler
Besides the fact that the guy is incredibly sexy, you just feel for him. His whole life has been ripped away from him. You just want to hug him, and hug him… The character has changed some but down deep this is the hero that you want at the end of day. (I really wanted to put him #1 but I thought if I ever meet the man, I don’t want him to think I’m a crazy fan. I am a professional!)
1. Strong Female roles
Emily Thorne is a woman on a mission who not only can kick ass but be feminine at the same time. Victoria Grayson has made it an art form to manipulate to get most of what she wants. It seems like ABC has done a great job of spotlighting these amazing female characters in all genres and Revenge is one of the best.
Happy Thanksgiving! Revenge airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.

[Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 2.] The Order’s second season is dark yet delightful entertainment on many levels, and one of its biggest sources of joy and snark is the sassy Gabrielle Dupres. Last season, she was assertive and deadly and fairly annoyed with the world. This season, she’s been…

Who can you trust? If this episode of The Catch was any indication, the answer is just about nobody. What They Said: Top 4 Quotable Moments from Black Sails “XXIII”
The dialogue in “XXIII” is phenomenal. It’s always a fun ride when Black Sails carries its viewers along without giving them the chance to catch their breath. When an episode moves at this unforgiving pace, there is no chance for a breather nor is there a respite from the information…
What Lucifer Said: Favorite quotes from Supernatural “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
Supernatural episodes are almost always funny but thanks to the dialogue and a certain man speaking said dialogue, I laughed a lot during “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” You know, when I wasn’t busy fearing for Sam’s life or wondering what in the world was going on with Dean and…
What They Said: The Flash, “Legends Of Today” and Arrow, “Legends Of Yesterday”
Two nights of Arrow + The Flash = what more could we ask for?! I don’t know what it is about blending these shows, but I can’t help but feel that every time they come together, they somehow become greater than the sum of their parts. And that’s saying a lot…

Shoot outs. Fake outs. And long-awaited revelations. “Little Bo Bleep” was a jam-packed episode that wrapped up some loose ends and totally frayed others. Â It finally gave us one Sarkissian in jail and pulled back the curtain on Briggs’ master plan, but it also set up Jakes for a world…

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
The most satisfying part of this season’s finale has to the Jake and Amy kiss. Well, they kiss three times but the last one is the best one — and it means something. The Charles and Rosa dynamic was also great. I love how she’s convinced he doesn’t know anything…
