No Len? How do we survive without him? I will tell you how: Julianne Hough as a guest judge! Here is someone that not only knows how all the dancers feel but believes in constructive criticism. She roots for everyone but does tell the truth. I actually thought she was pretty great at judging. Here is what happened last night:
Jack and Cheryl
Dance: Quickstep
Jack is definitely more suited for the Ballroom dances. I agree with the judges, he does need to loosen up a little bit and have more fun. I love that his sister, Kelly and her DWTS partner, Louis Van Amstel were in the audience cheering them on.
Score: 8-Carrie Ann, 8-Julianne, 8-Bruno, Total: 24
Voting Number: 800-868-3402
Elizabeth and Val
Dance: Argentine Tango
Elizabeth is an amazing dancer. What I loved was that she tried to make Val a little uncomfortable by doing an exercise that had him staring into her eyes. She wanted them to be connected.  It was weird, but definitely effective.
Score: 9-Carrie Ann, 9-Julianne, 9-Bruno; Total: 27
Voting Number: 800-868-3405
Brandt and Peta
Dance: Salsa
Let’s be honest, his actual Salsa moves were as Julianne put it: “Loosey Goosey.â€Â Yes, I realize that you are pretty Brandt, but you still have to shake it properly.
Score: 7-Carrie Ann, 7- Julianne, 7-Bruno; Total: 21
Voting number: 800-868-3403
Valerie and Tristan
Dance: Viennese Waltz
When Valerie and Tristan are together they looked beautiful but some of the routine was difficult to watch. She got lost when they were separated. She is still an inspiration.
Score: 6-Carrie Ann, 6-Julianne, 6-Bruno; Total: 18
Voting Number: 800-868-3410
Leah and Tony
Dance: Cha Cha
I think that she can go farther! She is really good and always says she is not a dancer. But — hello — she is.
Score: 8- Carrie Ann, 8- Julianne, 8-Bruno; Total: 24
Voting Number: 800-868-3411
Corbin and Karina
Dance: Paso Doble
The man can dance and this week there were no gimmicks! As Julianne said, he doesn’t need them.
Score: 9-Carrie Ann, 9-Julianne, 9-Bruno; Total: 27
Voting Number: 800-868-3406
Snooki and Sasha
Dance: Jive
Unfortunately for Snooki all the traveling back and forth to the east coast caught up with her. It was a cute dance but can she keep up the pace?
Score: 8-Carrie Ann, 8-Julianne, 8-Bruno; Total: 24Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â I
Voting Number: 800-868-3412
Christina and Mark
Dance:Â Foxtrot
I thought it was a nice dance. Julianne gave Mark a little grief since she used to dance with him. I enjoyed that part.
Score: 8-Carrie Ann, 8-Julianne, 8-Bruno; Total: 24
Voting Number: 800-868-3401
Amber and Derek
Dance: Tango
She’s awesome! And Julianne really wanted to hate it because it was her brother but it was excellent, of course. (Now Derek tried to be funny by giving Julianne cash. He needs to stick with the dancing. The jokes are what Tom Bergeron is there for.)
Score: 9-Carrie Ann, 9-Julianne, 9-Bruno; Total: 27
Voting Number: 800-868-3407
Bill and Emma
Dance: Samba
I love that he really puts his all into it! Samba wasn’t the best dance for him but he still made it through to next week!
Score: 7-Carrie Ann, 7-Len, 7-Bruno; Total Score: 21
Voting Number: 800-868-3409

Here is the time that all the dancers dread: Who is about to be eliminated? It was time for Valerie and Tristan to go. I think it wasn’t about winning for her, but to send a message not to give up. How can you not love this woman for that?
See you next week.
Dancing with the Stars airs Monday nights at 8/7c on ABC.

What They Said: Top 4 Quotable Moments from Black Sails “XXIII”
The dialogue in “XXIII” is phenomenal. It’s always a fun ride when Black Sails carries its viewers along without giving them the chance to catch their breath. When an episode moves at this unforgiving pace, there is no chance for a breather nor is there a respite from the information…
What Lucifer Said: Favorite quotes from Supernatural “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
The most satisfying part of this season’s finale has to the Jake and Amy kiss. Well, they kiss three times but the last one is the best one — and it means something. The Charles and Rosa dynamic was also great. I love how she’s convinced he doesn’t know anything…
