In case Westerns and baby trafficking aren’t your thing, Hallmark Channel has you covered with a new episode of Cedar Cove, followed by the premiere of its latest original movie, This Magic Moment, a confection that sounds like it could be a remake of a TV movie Sela Ward and John Slattery did 13 years ago called Catch a Falling Star (the earlier film was written by Josh Goldstein and this one is written by a Gary Goldstein but IMdB doesn’t tell me if they’re related).

It stars L&O: SVU/NCIS alum Diane Neal, Travis Schuldt (Passions/Scrubs/It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Alaina Huffman (Smallville, Stargate Universe  and she was recently Abaddon on several episodes of Supernatural) and Vincent Spano. The Nanny and Days of Our Lives actor Charles Shaughnessy also appears in the movie along with a couple of other former Days stars Molly Burnett and Robin Riker. Schuldt’s Passions co-star Brook Kerr has a role in The Magic Moment as well. On this late great daytime soap, Travis played the original Ethan while Kerr played Whitney.

Here’s what to expect: When This Magic Moment is filmed in the small town of Stone’s Throw, the Hollywood production creates romance both onscreen and off! Movie star Helena Harris (Neal) and local video store owner Clark Gable (Schuldt) strike up an unlikely relationship, which angers Helena’s jealous co-star, Roberto Molinez (Spano) and comes between Clark and his former high school sweetheart, Emily McIntyre (Huffman).
