The lovely and talented Diane Kruger dives into US episodic television on FX tonight with the premiere of The Bridge, a drama series focusing on cross-border murders in Texas and Mexico. Co-starring Demian Bichir, who TV people will recognize from his arc on Weeds, the series is a dark look at drug smuggling and human trafficking that takes a page from Homeland with a lead character (the Texas detective played by Kruger) who’s just a scoche different. Keep an eye out for Thomas M. Wright from Sundance’s Top of the Lake.
