Season 4 of CBS’ The Good Wife comes to an end tonight.

Synopsis for “What’s In The Box?”: On the night of Peter’s gubernatorial election, Alicia, Will and Diane race to a series of emergency court proceedings when Zach believes he’s witnessed vote tampering. Meanwhile, an unlikely source offers Cary aid to start his own firm, while the conflicted feelings Alicia has in her personal and professional lives come to a head. Martha Plimpton [Raising Hope], T.R. Knight [Grey’s Anatomy], Denis O’Hare [True Blood], Dylan Baker [Damages, Political Animals], Ana Gasteyer [Suburgatory, SNL] and Estelle Parsons [Roseanne] guest star. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg appears as himself.

Some questions we’re most looking forward to seeing answered: 1.Will Alicia make a choice between Peter and Will? 2. Who ends up helping Cary strike out on his own with the other Fourth Years? 3. Will Alicia and/or Kalinda become part of this new firm? 4. Will Peter win the election?

The whole potential Cary/Fourth Years new firm storyline is especially interesting. Now that Alicia sees how the minds of the partners tick, she’s had to put two and two together. Thanks to the assistants’ revolt, she has to realize the partners did the same thing to them (dividing and conquering) that they did with her and Cary and the rest of the fourth-year associates. There’s no way that could sit well with her. Plus, Alicia and Cary make an awesome team. Hopefully, they land on the same side of the equation whichever way the dust settles.

What do you think should happen? Should Alicia align herself with Cary? And who do you think Alicia should end up with — Peter, Will or someone new?

The Good Wife season 4 finale airs tonight on CBS at 9/8c.
