Well, folks, we’re down to the wire.  With only 2 episodes left in the season, I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m on the edge of my seat.  At the end of last week’s episode, we are left with Andrea being kidnapped by the Governor in his personal House of Horrors and the Governor planning a lethal attack against the prison.  At the same time, Rick is faced with the moral dilemma of a lifetime of whether to turn Michonne over to the Governor in the hopes of thwarting any further bloodshed between the prison and Woodbury.  Will Rick hand over Michonne, even though it’s almost certain the Governor will attack anyways?  For those who cannot wait, check out the below sneak peeks of tomorrow’s penultimate episode “This Sorrowful Life”.

In this clip, it appears that Glenn has finally come back down to earth and regained his senses. Instead of the non-stop pity party he’s been throwing since his assault by the Governor and Merle at Woodbury, he’s finally realizing that Maggie is more important than himself. While I don’t think this necessarily means Glenn will die in this episode, this could be an omen that Glenn will give his own life for Maggie’s later on.

Of all of the previews, I think this clip is the most telling. Ever since we met Merle on that rooftop in Atlanta in Season 1, he’s always appeared to have the compassion of a rock. Here, for the very first time, we see a glimmer of humanity in Merle, with his going so far as stating that Rick is one cold-hearted SOB if he chooses to hand over Michonne to the Governor. Merle has never struck me as one who cares about anybody more than himself, but this clip makes me wonder if he would be willing to put down his own life to save Michonne’s.

So, what does everyone think?  Will Rick hand over Michonne to the Governor?  And, if so, will Merle step in to save her life?  Chime in the Comments section to let us know what you think!

The Walking Dead ‘s penultimate episode airs tomorrow night at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
