OK, I’m not going to lie. I’m beyond excited for tonight’s episode of Psych. Why you ask? Arrested Development‘s Jeffrey Tambor guest stars as Juliet’s stepfather. We’ll have to see how Lloyd and Shawn get along. I just think things can’t go well when Shawn’s involved. Am I right?

Synopsis for “No Country for Two Old Men”: Shawn attempts to bond with Juliet’s (Maggie Lawson) stepfather Lloyd, a seemingly harmless accountant.

Jeffrey Tambor is currently being worshiped for having been a part of the amazing TV comedy, Arrested Development. The show is about to get resurrected on Netflix this May (yay!). But over the years, the always working actor has had a million credits to his name (not literally) including the Three’s Company spin-off The Ropers (back in 1979). His TV resume also includes stints on Hill Street Blues and Max Headroom. And who can forget the fact he played Hank Kingsley in the oh so awesome Garry Shandling-series The Larry Sanders Show? Tambor has too many guest star appearances to list. He’s the kind of actor everyone seems to want to work with — love him.

Tony Plana is also on tonight’s Psych. He’s another veteran character whose TV credits run a mile long (again, not literally). He’s acted in shows like Quincy M.E., 21 Jump Street, Ally McBeal, 24 and Person of Interest. But he’s probably best known for either playing the patriarch of the Santiago family on the Showtime series Resurrection Blvd. or playing Betty’s dad, Ignacio Suarez on ABC’s Ugly Betty.

Back for another episode is ER and Alcatraz star Parminder Nagra. What do you guys think of Gus and Rachael? They’re in the beginning stages but they immediately clicked for me. I’m looking forward to a Psych that has both Shawn and Gus in a relationship. And I kind of liked seeing Shawn threatened by this new variable in his life. I wonder how Gus is going to handle a kid in his life. You might want to watch the clip below for the answer.
