Hallmark Channel is rolling out the rose petals tonight with the premiere of a new original film, Be My Valentine, tonight at 9 pm/8 c. Loading the deck considerably, they’ve put William Baldwin back in a fireman’s jumpsuit (I predict a weekend spike in Backdraft rentals on Netflix) as Dan Farrell, a widowed single dad who’s happy on the job and raising his son when a fire call sends him to a flower shop and its owner, Kate (Natalie Brown from Being Human).
Coincidence and timing keep them in each other’s paths enough times that romance ensues, but since this is Hallmark, we also get a road bump or two before a happy ending. And who doesn’t love those? Be My Valentine premieres tonight at 9 pm/8c on Hallmark Channel and then repeats at 11 pm /10 c and throughout February. Here’s a sneak peek:
