Since Haven‘s return has been pushed to January, Syfy is throwing us a holiday bone with a reairing of last year’s Christmas-themed episode, “Silent Night.” In another episode where Emily Rose does a lot of heavy lifting, the plot follows the random arrival of Christmas that only Audrey realizes is odd and her race against the clock to prevent it from being Haven‘s last holiday. As an added bonus, we get Duke in a Santa suit, and a very sweet scene in a toy store with Audrey and Nathan.
One note: timeline-wise, this episode fell in the middle of the second season, so we hadn’t reached critical mass on Audrey and Nathan’s relationship yet.
“Silent Night” airs tonight at 11/10 c and repeats on Christmas night at 1 am/midnight c.
