Hunted concludes its first, and possibly only (but hopefully not), season tonight on Cinemax. In its short eight episodes, it’s had impressively tight, razor’s edge storytelling, great performances, and plenty of twists and turns. Deadline broke news last month that the BBC opted not to pick up a second season.
Producer Frank Spotnitz says he wants to do something else with series star Melissa George and the character of Sam Hunter and Cinemax is open to it. I hope he does. The finale wraps up a few story lines and and kicks off a few more. I’d love to see them come back in some form. Hunted airs tonight at 10/9 c on Cinemax and repeats at 12:30 am/11:30 c.
