Character Analysis (sort of): NCIS’ Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on Dr. Phil

We don’t know how this happened but Very Special Anthony DiNozzo (Tony to his friends) was in the audience of the Dr. Phil show recently when his presence was needed on stage. You see, his friend, Jimmy Palmer, needed the good doctor to help out his NCIS pal and coworker. According to Jimmy, Tony’s been through a lot in his life, and as a result, he’s experiencing some emotional and mental health issues. Take a look at what transpired:

Good thing Tony didn’t have to get specific on his daddy drama; the fact he once had the plague; or the woman he lied to all in the name of getting close to her arms dealer father. And sorry, Dr. Phil. Gibbs is way better with the head slaps. He’s had a lot more practice.

Seriously, we love Michael Weatherly, Dr. Phil and CBS for doing this video and making it available to the masses. And that both Brian Dietzen and Sean Murray also make fun appearances as well. This was a hilarious treat and we sincerely hope there’s more. After all, DiNozzo needs a lot of help. A bigger intervention may be in order. Any way Robert Wagner (Anthony DiNozzo Sr.) can be a part of the action next time? And how about NCIS showing more of the Tony DiNozzo/Jimmy Palmer friendship we know is there? Just saying.

NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
