[Warning: Spoilers for season 3 premiere]

Today’s a good day simply because two of our favorite comedies are back with new episodes: ABC’s Happy Endings and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23. It’s a comedy block that’s full of fun and plenty of crazy and if you haven’t discovered them yet, you really need to get with the program. Right now let’s just focus on Happy Endings.

Synopsis for the season 3 premiere “Cazsh Dummy Millionaires”: Dave and Alex start dating again, telling everyone they’re keeping it “cazsh.” When an unfortunate accident lands Penny in a full body cast, Max nurses her back to health. But after he meets her hot physical therapist, he starts “misery-ing” her so her fast recovery won’t put the brakes on his new crush; and Brad has a secret about his new unemployed status that he’s trying to keep from Jane.

Certain truths after watching the premiere:
-Brad and Jane are one of the best couples on TV. I thought their storyline was going one way and it took an entirely different path — and it was refreshing and supportive and wonderful. Plus, Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans Jr. are freaking hilarious together. They also have a tremendous amount of chemistry. They are just so adorable.
-The jury’s still out on Dave and Alex getting back together but their antics are entertaining as they try to figure out what they are to each other. Can they stay friends with benefits?
-Dave (Zachary Knighton) has a great haircut. Totally love his season 3 ‘do.
-Max is plain bats–t crazy and it’s awesome.
-It’s time to feel bad for poor Penny. Why? Because 1. Her tragic accident has her laid up in a full body cast. 2. Just wait until you see how she ended up in said body cast. So painful. 3. Max is taking care of her. Let’s just say her recovery period doesn’t go smoothly because, well, Max is saving his TLC for the physical therapist. Can’t a girl catch a break? Not in the premiere.
-Guest starring as the physical therapist is Matthew Del Negro: you may know him from his stint as the clueless mechanic on TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles; his recent guest star appearance as a shady cop on CBS’ The Good Wife or as a fed on three episodes of the CW’s Ringer.
