COUNTDOWN TO NBC’S THE VOICE. Forget American Idol. Forget The X-Factor. Forget about The Sing-Off. The best singing competition currently on TV is The Voice. It premieres in the post-Super Bowl timeslot so that means NBC is definitely looking to take this show to the next level. Click on the video above as host Carson Daly tells us what to expect from Season 2. What we had no idea about is that each coach/judge will now choose 12 people to be on their team (as opposed to last year’s 8). This means the upcoming season will be bigger and better and we can’t be more excited to watch. One of our favorite parts of the show are the audition rounds which kick-off after Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday February 5. The Voice then moves to its regular timeslot on Monday February 6 at 8/7c. Oh and a heads up. Premiering on NBC right after The Voice on Monday is the new musical drama called Smash. You guys are definitely going to want to tune in. The pilot is spectacular.
