It Was So Good To See You: Guide to Guest Stars (Week of January 22)

There weren’t quite as many familiar faces this past week on my favorite TV shows as in the past; but still enough to catch my attention.

Dylan Baker. Photo Credit: USA Network

Let’s start with actor Dylan Baker, who appeared on Tuesday’s episode of White Collar, playing the dean at a private school who is actually embezzling money from the scholarship fund. Dylan has appeared in TV shows like Damages, The Good Wife, and Burn Notice among many others.

Graham Phillips. Photo Credit: USA Network

Also in that episode, Graham Phillips played a prep school student who brought the case to the attention of the FBI. He’s best known for his role on The Good Wife and has also appeared on Crossing Jordan and The King of Queens.

Sam Page

That same night over on Switched at Birth, actor Sam Page appeared as the new attorney hired by the Kennish family. Sam most recently guest starred on Desperate Housewives, Mad Men, Gossip Girl and Greek. He got his start on the cult-favorite Popular before appearing in episodes of American Dreams, the short-lived series Point Pleasant and Shark.

Titus Welliver

On the Wednesday night special preview event of Touch, actor Titus Welliver appeared as a former fireman. He was revealed to have carried Martin’s wife down one of the Towers on 9-11. He then convinced himself she was dead and left her behind. Titus, of course, has a lengthy TV resume, including roles on Lost, The Good Wife, Sons of Anarchy, Deadwood and NYPD Blue among many others.

James Callis. Photo Credit: Syfy

Lastly, on Friday night actor James Callis appeared on Merlin, playing a former pupil of Richard Wilson’s Gaius who was in search of the last remaining dragon egg. James, of course, is best known for his role on the remake of Battlestar Galactica, but he also appeared in the short-lived series FlashForward and had a recurring role on Eureka. Ironically enough, he also appeared as Merlin in the made-for-TV movie Merlin and the Book of Beasts.

With February sweeps right around the corner, it will be very interesting to see who will show up over the next month.  What guest stars did you see this week on your favorite shows?  Please share.
