A SET VISIT TO HBO’S LUCK: In just one week, HBO premieres its new series called Luck, a sports gambling drama starring Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman. When the premium cable channel recently aired a sneak preview, it garnered great buzz and reviews. According to an HBO press release: “LUCK is a behind-the-track look at the world of horse racing and gambling’s denizens – owners, trainers, jockeys and gamblers.” The show also stars Oscar nominee Nick Nolte and features a couple powerhouse names behind the scenes in acclaimed director Michael Mann (Miami Vice) and Deadwood creator David Milch. HBO has extended an invitation to the set so just click on the link above. Alongside Hoffman and Nolte, you’ll see so many familiar TV faces including Crossing Jordan star Jill Hennessy, Crime Story’s Dennis Farina, Mad About You’s Richard Kind, Boomtown’s Jason Gedrick and Guiding Light’s Ritchie Coster.
