With November sweeps underway, a lot of great guest stars are beginning to appear on most of the TV shows and the following are some of the interesting actors/actresses who appeared on some of my favorite shows this past week.

On last Sunday’s episode of Once Upon a Time, actress Anastasia Griffith appeared as the fiancée of Prince Charming (aka John Doe’s wife in the real world. Anastasia is probably best known for her work on the former FX series Damages and her recurring role on Royal Pains, but she also appeared in the short-lived medical drama Trauma and guest appearances on New Amsterdam, The Cleaner, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also starred in the made-for-TV movie And Baby Will Fall.

On that same episode, actor David Anders appeared as the doctor overseeing John Doe’s medical condition. He, of course, is best known for his recurring roles on The Vampire Diaries and Alias, but he has also had recurring roles on 24 and Heroes as well as guest appearances on Charmed, Grey’s Anatomy, Lie to Me, and Warehouse 13.

Actor Richard Burgi is once again on this list, as he appeared in the November 7 episode of Castle which featured the storyline of a murdered casino owner being investigated by Ryan, Esposito, and Castle. Burgi played the casino owner partner of the deceased; and he is best known for his role on the sci-fi classic The Sentinel and more recently appeared on Desperate Housewives, Chuck, and Harper’s Island.

In that same Castle episode, actor Eric Ladin appeared as the security tech for the casino. Eric is best known for his role in the AMC series The Killing, but he has also appeared in the mini-series Generation Kill as well as recurring appearances on Big Love and Mad Men as well as guest roles in Suits, CSI, Criminal Minds, and The Mentalist.

On November 8, actress Jaime Ray Newman appeared on NCIS as a Navy chaplain brought in after the crash of a Marine plane carrying deceased soldiers back to their families. Jamie has appeared in Eureka, Eastwick, Drop Dead Diva, Veronica Mars, and Lincoln Heights. She has also guest starred on Life Unexpected, Royal Pains, Leverage, and CSI.

The next night on Psych, beside legendary actor Danny Glover making an appearance, actor Michael Trucco appeared as a minor league baseball star who was a personal favorite James Roday’s of Shawn. Michael is best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and the debut season of Fairly Legal. He has also appeared in episodes of Tru Calling, Castle, V, One Tree Hill, and Eli Stone.

Lastly, on Friday night (November 11) actress Nana Visitor appeared as the Queen bee – literally – on the new fairytale drama Grimm. Nana has a long TV resume, but she is probably best known for her work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Wildfire. She has also appeared on Dark Angel, Torchwood, Matlock, and Empty Nest.

That same night actor DJ Qualls appeared as a replacement hunter working with Dean in Supernatural. DJ is best known for his work on the recently cancelled Memphis Beat, but he has also appeared in episodes of My Name is Earl, Numb3rs, Lost, Monk, and Scrubs.
Each week it is always exciting to see who shows up on my favorite shows. Who showed up on some of yours? Please share.

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
