There were a lot of familiar faces on TV this past week, starting with actor Kenneth Mitchell who appeared on Monday night’s episode of Castle. Kenneth appeared as a press reporter. He turned out to be involved with a superhero, who was being investigated by Beckett and the team. Kenneth is best known for his work on the short-lived series Jericho, but he has also appeared on Ghost Whisperer and Odyssey 5 as well as guest starring on Private Practice, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, Without a Trace, and Flashpoint.

Eve Gordon

On Tuesday night, actress Eve Gordon appeared on NCIS as the adoptive mother of a Marine who killed because of his adopted sister. Eve has a long resume of TV appearances in shows like Felicity and Almost Grown as well as guest roles on Glee, Medium, ER, Monk, Grey’s Anatomy, and Veronica Mars.

Meanwhile, over on The Vampire Diaries on Thursday night, actor Sebastian Roche appeared as a cop in a flashback to Stefan’s past in 1920’s Chicago. TV viewers will recognize Sebastian from his recent work on Supernatural, but he has also appeared in General Hospital, Criminal Minds, Fringe, Odyssey 5, and the short-lived series Roar that starred a then unknown Heath Ledger.

Tahmoh Penikett

Over on Friday night, actor Tahmoh Penikett appeared as the deceased father of Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour) on Haven’s season finale. Brian Kerwin

Friday night’s episode of A Gifted Man featured actor Brian Kerwin as the CPA of Dr. Michael Holt (Patrick Wilson) whose pregnant wife had a brain tumor. Brian has a long resume to TV work, dating back to the 70’s classic series B.J. and the Bear and The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo through 80’s shows such as Highway to Heaven, Murder She Wrote, and St. Elsewhere. In the 90’s he appeared in Roseanne and Beggars and Choosers. More recently he has appeared in episodes of The West Wing, Nip/Tuck, Big Love, and One Life to Live.
