It was a three-peat on Body of Proof this past week with three familiar faces showing up on the ABC crime drama.
In a story about the murder of a rich man’s second wife and her best friend, who turned out to be the sperm donor for her unborn child, actor Jay Karnes played her sterile husband while actress Jessica Tuck appeared as the ex-wife and Alex Fernandez was the rich man’s business manager who turned out to be the murderer.
TV viewers know Jay from the remake of V and Burn Notice and is probably best known for his role on FX’s late great cop drama The Shield, Brothers & Sisters and Sons of Anarchy, but he has also appeared in episodes of The Protector, The Glades, House, Numb3rs and Ally McBeal.
Jessica is known for her recent work as American Vampire League spokesperson, Nan Flanagan, in HBO’s True Blood, but she has also appeared on Saving Grace, Judging Amy, Days of Our Lives and the show that served as her big break, ABC’s One Life to Live. She has also been seen in the box office films Super 8 and Batman Forever as well as the latter two High School Musical made-for-TV movies.
Meanwhile, Alex has appeared in TV shows like Rizzoli & Isles, Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds, Chuck, Human Target and NCIS: Los Angeles. He has also appeared in the made-for-TV movie Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe and the box office film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
