The Hour Preview (VIDEO)

Dominic West smoldered his way through The Wire, but I, being HBO-less at the time, didn’t find him until he did The Forgotten with Julianne Moore (seriously, watch the deleted scenes) and then I was hooked. He’s back on TV in BBC America’s The Hour, a spy thriller set in 1950s London that follows a news production crew working for the BBC. West looks dapper and drinks and smokes and tries to snog the ladies. The dapper young Ben Whishaw (the 2008 Brideshead Revisited reboot) and sultry Romola Garai (PBS’s Emma) are along for the ride. What else do you need to know? Okay, the yummy Idris Elba introduces the episodes. The Hour started last night and runs six weeks on BBC America. You can catch a rerun of the pilot over the weekend on Saturday at 10 am ET and Sunday at 1 am ET and episode two Wednesday at 10 pm ET on BBC America.
