On the heels of USA Network’s Suits getting renewed (Yay!), HBO has announced it’s extending the life of its hit supernatural drama, True Blood. Season 5 will premiere next summer. So far in Season 4, Creator Alan Ball has gone hardcore on a witches versus vampire storyline as well as the Sookie-Eric romance. In a press release, Ball reacted to the good news: “I remain amazed and delighted by the enthusiasm of our viewers,” he says. “I can’t imagine having more fun than this.” Congrats to the cast and crew of True Blood. Look for a new episode to air this Sunday at 9/8C on HBO — click on the video above to watch a preview.
