It was quite a night on Sunday, June 26 with guest stars galore on many of the summer cable shows.

Starting with the season premiere of Leverage on TNT, we saw actor Eric Stoltz portray a mission mountain climber, who held the key to who or what really caused his disappearance if only Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team can find out the truth. Meanwhile, actor Cameron Daddo played a mega businessman who was actually the culprit behind the other man’s death.

Eric is best known for his recent role on the short-lived series Caprica, but he has a long resume of TV and film roles, including the 80’s classic films Some Kind of Wonderful and Mask. He has also appeared in the box office films Singles, Memphis Belle, Little Women, Pulp Fiction, Jerry Maguire and The Butterfly Effect. His TV roles include Grey’s Anatomy, Close to Home, Will & Grace, Once and Again and Chicago Hope.

Cameron got his first big break in TV on the primetime soap Models Inc. He then moved on to guest appearances in episodes of Monk, Andromeda, The West Wing, CSI and The Outer Limits. He also appeared in the 2003 made-for-TV movie Riverworld and Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story. He had a recurring role in the syndicated series She Spies and guest roles in TV shows like Summerland, CSI: Miami, Boston Legal, 24, NCIS, Human Target and The Mentalist.

Over on Falling Skies on TNT, actor Steven Weber started his recurring role as one of the surviving doctors. He is best known for his role in the long-running comedy Wings, but he has also appeared in the box office movies Single White Female and Leaving Las Vegas. His TV roles include Once and Again, Will & Grace, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Without a Trace, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Brothers & Sisters, In Plain Sight and Happy Town.
On the new episode of Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime, actor Victor Webster appeared as the lover of Teri (Margaret Cho), who was pretending to be an LA firefighter and actress Lisa Darr appeared as the mother of a young girl who wanted to be a model but ended up dying from a botched breast enhancement surgery pushed on her by a conniving model agency owner.

Victor has appeared in TV shows such as NCIS: Los Angeles, Castle, Bones, Melrose Place, Harper’s Island, Lincoln Heights, Dirt, Moonlight, NCIS, CSI: Miami, Charmed and Related. He got his start in soap operas Sunset Beach and Days of Our Lives and got his first big break on the syndicated series Mutant X.

Lisa is probably best known for her role in the fan favorite WB series Popular, but before that she appeared in TV shows such as Nash Bridges, Early Edition, Ellen, Profit, NYPD Blue and ER. Since her days on Popular, she guest starred in Charmed, Strong Medicine, Life As We Know It, 7th Heaven, The Unit, Weeds and CSI.

Meanwhile, on the Lifetime drama The Protector, actress Tina Lifford appeared as the principal at the school for one of Gloria’s (Ally Walker) sons. Tina’s TV work includes Hill Street Blues, Knots Landing, South Central, American Gothic, JAG, NYPD Blue, Family Law, ER, Lincoln Heights and Parenthood.
Over on The Glades on A&E, actress Sharon Lawrence and actor Taylor Handley appeared as a mother and son, who were part of family of race car drivers.

Sharon, of course, is best known for her role in NYPD Blue, but she has also appeared in the short-lived shows Wolf Lake and Hidden Palms as well as appearances in Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, Privileged, Drop Dead Diva and Grey’s Anatomy. She has also appeared in the made-for-TV movies The Capture of the Green River Killer, Augusta, Gone, Atomic Twister and Aftershock: Earthquake in New York.

Taylor, on the other hand, is best known for his recurring role on The O.C., but he has also appeared in the short-lived series Hidden Palms as well as Dawson’s Creek and Southland. He has also guest starred in The Cleaner, Numb3rs, CSI: Miami, Cold Case, CSI and Touched By An Angel. His film roles include Skateland, Battle: Los Angeles, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and Jack Frost.

Lastly, on In Plain Sight over on USA Network, actor Jeffrey Nordling appeared as the District Attorney handling the latest WITSEC case of Mary and Marshall’s. He has appeared in the TV shows Body of Proof, Desperate Housewives, 24, Dirt, Providence, Once and Again and Melrose Place. His guest starring roles have included Chicago Hope, Touched By An Angel, Sex and the City, State of Grace, Crossing Jordan, The Closer, Bones and The Mentalist. His movie roles include Tron: Legacy, D3: The Mighty Ducks and the made-for-TV movies Mrs. Washington Goes to Smith and Flight 93.

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
