Each week when you tune into your favorite shows, you never know who you might see as the guest star. Sometimes it’s new faces you haven’t seen before or perhaps it’s someone you recognize, but can’t quite place the name. For me, it’s like seeing a long lost friend.
This past week there weren’t too many familiar faces in the shows that I typically watch; but the guest stars that did show up were pleasant surprises.

First there was actor Todd Stashwick, who appeared in the June 12 episode of The Glades. He played one of the suspects in the serial killings of women in Chicago and Miami. Todd is best known for his role in Heroes (he was the guy who could replicate himself), but he has also appeared in episodes of Dark Angel, American Dreams, Criminal Intent, CSI: Miami, Boston Legal, Crossing Jordan, Weeds, Burn Notice, Supernatural, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Lie to Me, Dark Blue, and Men of a Certain Age. His movie roles include The Rundown, Along Came Polly, and You Me and Dupree.
Then over on White Collar on June 14, there were four familiar faces in that episode, including actress Anna Chlumsky who played an agent working for the Smithsonian, actor William Sadler, who played a child kidnapper and real-life brothers Chris and Danny Masterson, who played estranged brothers who had the FBI authenticate their late father’s will.

As most viewers know, Anna is best known for her childhood role in the box office film My Girl and its sequel My Girl 2. She has appeared in episodes of Cupid (both the 1990’s version and the short-lived 2009 revision), Early Edition, 30 Rock, Covert Affairs, Law & Order, and Lights Out. She also had roles in the made for TV movies 12 Men of Christmas and Three Weeks Three Kids.

William “Bill†Sadler is probably best known for his role as Sheriff Valenti in the popular WB series Roswell, but he has a long resume dating back to his role in the film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Adventure where he appeared as the Grim Reaper and the box office movies The Shawshank Redemption, Disturbing Behavior, and The Green Mile. He also appeared in the fan favorite, but short-lived series Wonderfalls and guest starred in episodes of Ed, JAG, Third Watch, Tru Calling, CSI, Numb3rs, Three Rivers, and Hawaii Five-0. He also appeared in the made for TV movies Jesse Stone: Sea Change, The Pacific, Jesse Stone: Thin Ice, Jesse Stone: No Remorse, and Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost.

As for the Masterson brothers, Chris is best known for his role in the comedy Malcolm in the Middle, but he appeared in episodes of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Touched by An Angel, Murphy Brown, The Pretender, and The Dead Zone. His film roles include Cutthroat Island, My Best Friend’s Wedding, and Scary Movie 2 as well as the made for TV movie Wuthering Heights.
Meanwhile, his brother Danny is best known for his role in That 70’s Show, but he has also appeared in Raising Hope, Party of Five, NYPD Blue, Cybill, The Dead Zone, and Sliders. His film roles include Dracula 2000, The Faculty, Face/Off, and Yes.
With more shows to look forward to this coming week, it will be fun to see who shows up.

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
