Speculate This: Is This the Beginning of the End for Winona and Raylan on Justified?

I’m worried about Winona and Raylan. I’ve been a fan from the beginning. I know plenty of people would prefer to see Raylan with Ava but I love whatever’s going on with Ava and Boyd right now. I love that Winona and Raylan have a history and its complicated and interesting that they’re divorced AND that she’s still married. We know she’s in a financial bind because of Gary. I wouldn’t say her taking the $100 was the beginning of the end of her relationship with Raylan though. I think he would have forgiven her. But she took all the money and lied about it. That’s not something I think Raylan can forgive.

Winona clearly thinks she got away with something – and in a sense, she did. But that little smirk at the end of the episode really irked me. How can she think everything’s ok? Yes, the money is back where it should be, but we can’t forget what she put Raylan through to get it back. And we can’t forget that she took it in the first place. And, yes, it’s nice that she can count on Raylan to get her out of trouble, but I don’t think it’s fair of her to ask He’s got enough to worry about and this is a man who takes the law pretty seriously. He should be asking himself: If Winona is capable of something like this what else is she capable of?

Raylan warned Winona that they’ve have to talk about this incident – and that was back when he just thought she took the $100. Now it’s going to have to be a very serious discussion. And I don’t think Winona will like the way it ends. But maybe Raylan and Winona aren’t meant to be. She’s still married and he’s a man of the law. And I have to admit that I wouldn’t be that upset to see this union broken. Sorry, Winona. I thought I was a fan. It turns out I’m not.
