We Need to Know: Why did Spencer Enter the Funhouse? Pretty Little Liars “Monsters in the End”

First of all, I’m glad Spencer did go into the funhouse at the festival because any scene that involves a funhouse is a welcome scene. But, seriously, Spencer’s a smart girl. I could see her being valedictorian of her high school class. She also seems to have common sense. Normally, that is. So why did she go into the funhouse at the carnival? All she had to go on was a text from “Toby” from an unknown phone number that said: “Borrowed phone. Mine died. I’m Inside.” Really? She went in after reading that? I just don’t get it. Although, how awesomely creepy was that funhouse? Things got way worse when she saw a wall with a message for her. It said: “Shut up or I’ll shut you up -A” And then she got locked in a closet-like room that was jammed close with a crow bar. I don’t know how much later it was, but all of a sudden, Ian was opening the door to save her from what could have been a long, drawn out, claustrophobic experience. I wouldn’t put it past her brother-in-law to have locked her in himself just so he could save her and make him look like the hero. I think he’d do anything to stop Spencer from pointing an accusing finger at him every time they have a conversation with each other. That Ian guy is beyond creepy. Could he be “A?” Did he kill Allison? Inquiring minds want to know.
