I know I haven’t mentioned it lately, but I’m a huge fan of Alan Cumming’s Eli Gold. I like seeing him interact with everyone – Alicia, Peter, Jackie, and even Becca. Well, maybe most especially with Becca. It’s nice to see someone put that lying, manipulative little girl in her place.
Things are not going well with Peter’s campaign. Right now it’s a three-person race and all three candidates want to see it become a two-way. Someone has made an appalling flyer about Wendy Scott-Carr and now it seems to be open season on the Florricks. When Alicia shows Eli both offending flyers, he does a bit digging and ends up at Becca’s door. Well, outside her school to be more accurate. And he’s able to threaten her with the only thing that can shut her up – the truth. She claims to care about Zack and I guess this is her sad attempt to get him back. Maybe one day she’ll learn manipulation and subterfuge aren’t the best way to get what you want. I mean, it works for Eli Gold but Becca’s no Eli.
