Since Hawaii Five-0 debuted on CBS in September, each episode has featured a number of interesting guest stars, some more notable than others. This week’s guests make for some guest star goodness.
“He Kane Hewa’ole†focused on the disturbing case of a head found in a bloody box after a high-speed car chase. As the story plays out, we discover the wealthy dead man’s wife was having an affair, planning his murder for a $5 million payoff.
As troubling as the storyline is, it’s more intriguing to see the actors involved in the case.
Amanda Schull is the not-so-grieving widow, who is best known for her role in the cult movie Center Stage. More recently, she’s appeared in recurring roles in One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars as well as the made-for-TV movie Sorority Wars.
The man having the affair with the widow is Jordan Belfi. Not only does he have a connection to series lead Alex O’Loughlin, who he appeared with in the short-lived series Moonlight, but also he had a recurring role in HBO’s Entourage.
Meanwhile, Ally McBeal alum Greg Germann played the wealthy father. He’s also appeared in the comedy Ned and Stacey as well as the recent made-for-TV movie The Santa Incident.
Lastly, one of the other guest stars, who is expected to recur in the series, is actress Reiko Aylesworth. She is the former fiancé of Daniel Dae Kim’s Chin Ho. She is best known for her role in the early years of the popular FOX drama 24 but she has also appeared in Lost, ER, Damages, and Stargate Universe.
As the number one new show, Hawaii Five-0 casting will continue to include recognizable guest stars. We can’t wait to see who they are.
