The Killing Marathon on AMC

The other day in my renewal tidbit, I groused that we weren’t getting a season one marathon of The Killing before the finale tomorrow. Well, I just found in my TV listings that Sundance Channel is marathoning the first season from 4 pm to 10 pm ET today (episodes 1-6) and tomorrow (episodes 7-12). Yay!

Guest Star Goodness: The Killing “Beau Soleil”

I can’t believe we’ve already arrived at the penultimate episode of The Killing. I wouldn’t say there were too many red herrings (especially since we don’t actually know who the killer is yet) but I do think we (meaning the cops) got a little too sidetracked for my taste. I […]

It Was So Good To See You (Week of 6/5)

The last couple of weeks have been a bit sparse on interesting guest stars on my favorite weekly TV shows; but with the end of the 2010-2011 TV season and the gradual build-up of the return of summer programming, the guest stars to choose from have been few and far […]

Leverage Season 4 Preview (VIDEO)

SPOILER ALERT: This video goes behind-the-scenes of a Season 4 episode of Leverage and seems to focus largely on one of my favorite pairings on this show — Parker and Hardison. Plus, we hear from Gina Bellman. Less than two weeks until the new season of TNT’s Leverage kicks off […]

AMC’s The Killing is Renewed for a Second Season

Hell, yeah. After a jaw-dropper ending last night, today The Killing was renewed for a second season. Now if only AMC would dump the movies planned for Sunday and marathon season one running up to the finale at 10 pm EDT instead…

Summer TV Crush: Matthew Bomer & Tim DeKay, White Collar

Matthew Bomer and Tim DeKay were a couple of my mid-season crushes a mere few months ago. But as White Collar returns for its third season, they’ve evolved into my Summer TV Crushes. Do you blame me? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. One of the biggest […]

Get With the Program: Men of a Certain Age, Season One

We’re not sure why we never gave this show a chance. Perhaps we’re the wrong demo, perhaps we missed the promos. We watch TNT and enjoy quite a few of the shows (namely the Supernatural repeats, Rizzoli and Isles, The Closer, and Leverage) so we’re not sure why we didn’t think this show was for us. It could be that […]

Summer TV Crush: The Guys, Covert Affairs

Everywhere I look on this show, there’s another hot guy. Don’t get me wrong I’d still watch the show if the guys were less hot but it makes it more enjoyable for everyone if girls and gay boys have some eye candy. Who’s with me?

Moment(s) of Goodness: The Killing “The Missing”

It’s a rare show that will stop to smell the roses and build a back story on its characters. Even rarer when it’s in a limited run/not yet renewed, and the core focus is a murder mystery, but that’s exactly what The Killing did Sunday night. Two episodes shy of its finale, […]

Things TV Goodness Learned This Week: Mad Men, Shameless, H50, SPN

Re: Mad Men @ The Envelope Screening Series Jon Hamm will be directing the first episode of Mad Men’s Season 5 — which doesn’t hit airwaves until March of 2012. Matthew Weiner doesn’t understand why people hate any character. With Betty, he feels like he’s holding a mirror up to […]
