Lifetime unveils its 2015 holiday movie lineup beginning this Saturday, with a range of familiar faces, including, funnily enough, a handful of folks from Hart of Dixie. While the plots aren’t terribly far off from previous films still in rotation here and elsewhere through the end of the year, the charm is in the casting. Here’s a look at the holiday class of 2015.

Meredith Hagner (Men at Work), Travis Milne (Rookie Blue), and Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) star in a tale about a personal shopper who helps her single dad client learn to appreciate his family and the holidays.

December 5 at 8 pm/7c — The Flight Before Christmas

Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) and Ryan McPartlin (Chuck) star with Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton of Family Matters in a spin on Planes, Trains, and Automobiles that finds an unlikely couple thrown together during last-minute Christmas travel snafus. (Hallmark Channel is doing its take on this with A Christmas Detour, and did it two years back with A Very Merry Mix-Up. For me, 1985’s The Sure Thing is still the gold standard tie with PTA for this kind of story).

December 6 at 9 pm/8c — Last Chance For Christmas

One Tree Hill‘s Hilarie Burton headlines opposite Gabriel Hogan (Heartland) and Tim Matheson (Hart of Dixie) in a family-friendly film about Santa’s stable hand, who gets in over his head when he has to scout a replacement for an injured Prancer and the best candidate belongs to a single mom and her daughter.

December 12 at 8 pm/7c — Becoming Santa

A sea of familiar faces including Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter of Family Ties, Laura Bell Bundy and Tony Cavalero of Hart of Dixie, and Jesse Hutch (Cedar Cove — who also did the super-cute 2013 Christmas movie, Let It Snow, that you can catch on Hallmark Channel) star in 2015’s version of “hey, you’re THAT Claus,” as a young woman’s decision to introduce her toy designer boyfriend to her family leads them really far north. Haven‘s Lucas Bryant did a reverse version of this a few years ago in The Merry In-Laws.

December 13 at 9/8c — Wish Upon A Christmas

Larisa Oleynik stars with  KilljoysAaron Ashmore and Alan Thicke in a familiar story about a business executive who’s tasked to save a family-run, holiday-oriented business, this time an ornament company, but has other plans until a rekindled high school romance changes her mind. FYI if you want a non-Christmas double shot of Ashmore, his other new film, Maid For Murder, airs on LMN at 6/5c before Wish Upon a Christmas airs on Lifetime.

December 19 at 8 pm/7c — The Spirit of Christmas

Jen Lilley (Days of Our Lives), Thomas Beaudoin (The Blacklist), and Bates Wilder (Black Mass) star in a holiday ghost story about a young lawyer Kate who heads to Vermont to broker the sale of an old inn and finds herself face-to-face with a handsome specter who died 95 years ago and magically takes human form every Christmas season as he tries to solve his murder. Points for a brand new idea!
