This family friendly film follows a young woman (Gibson) who’s called back to her love of music. John Bradshaw, who’s helmed a number of films for Hallmark, directs a script by Bryar Freed, who wrote Love Finds You in Sugarcreek and Far From Home for UP last year.

Here’s the formal logline: Jessica Terrill has made more than her share of sacrifices over the years, including forgoing her potential singing career to make room for her brother’s and help her parents keep their family business afloat. Although Jessica tries to keep her dreams tucked away, her friends and family push her to pursue them despite her protests. Fate steps in when the local church’s choir director quits just weeks before the church’s 100th anniversary celebration and Jessica is forced to revisit the dreams she left behind.

The Music in Me premieres Sunday night at 7/6c and repeats at 9/8c and 11/10c on UP. Here are a sneak peek and a couple of featurettes.
