[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

Lacey Chabert is no stranger to Christmas movies. Her film from two years ago, Matchmaker Santa, s in rotation for Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, and Saturday night, her newest seasonal outing, A Royal Christmas, opposite Jane Seymour, premieres at 8/7c. Next weekend, she’ll be on UP TV in another holiday premiere, The Tree That Saved Christmas, opposite Cedar Cove‘s Corey Sevier.

First up, A Royal Christmas is a spin on The Prince & Me territory as a young woman learns her new fiancé actually has a title and that putting together a wedding just got really complicated. Seymour plays his mom, who’s less than thrilled at her son marrying a commoner.

Here’s the formal logline: As the only daughter of an expert tailor in Philadelphia, Emily Corrigan is a kindhearted young woman proud of her blue-collar background. She is a devoted seamstress at the family business and madly in love with her doting European boyfriend, Leo (Stephan Hagan). But as their first Christmas together approaches, Leo drops a bombshell on his unsuspecting girlfriend: he is actually Prince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia, a small sovereign country.

Next weekend on UP, The Tree That Saved Christmas is decidedly less formal as Chabert’s character has one last season to turn around her family’s tree farm business.

Here’s what to expect. Imaginative, hard-working Molly Logan (Chabert) grew up on her family’s generations-old Christmas tree farm in rural Vermont. Now 29, Molly is pursuing her writing career in Manhattan. Unfortunately as Pendant Publishing CEO Walter Dunlap’s assistant, Molly has no life and little chance to write. After learning from her brother (Matthew Kevin Anderson, who played Chabert’s late husband in The Color of Rain), that the bank is foreclosing on the farm, she embarks upon a plan to save it — with some surprising, inventive help. Look for OUaT‘s Eric Keenleyside as Molly’s dad, Gordon.
