Before tomorrow’s directorial debut of Chris Gorham, I want to revisit two awesome Moments of Goodness from last week’s episode of Covert Affairs.
Moment of Goodness #1
We knew the episode would have Annie and Auggie back together but it was still a sweet, sweet scene when the elevator doors opened, she stepped off, and a waiting Auggie smiled when he heard her heels hit the floor.
While we didn’t get the unspoken piece that Auggie still needs to say to Annie, and her agreeable or disagreeable response (hurry!), I loved that he was waiting for her, that he called her Walker, and that they hugged immediately.
Moment of Goodness #2
I didn’t realize until we were watching it happen that Auggie and Eyal hadn’t met. I love that Eyal just launched himself at Auggie and was so handsy with him and Auggie didn’t know what to make of it. We never saw Auggie’s chats with Eyal when the rescue was set up for Annie, so I loved that the two men in the world who have her back were finally in the same room.
I love, love, love Oded Fehr and Chris Gorham. I may have rewound the scene a few times. Don’t judge me.
Covert Affairs airs Tuesday at 10 pm/9 c on USA.
