Suburgatory Season 2 Premiere Preview: “Homecoming” [VIDEO]

Suburgatory finally returns to ABC tonight — it’ll air in the plum post-Modern Family timeslot. In the season 2 premiere, there’s no more Alicia Silverstone, but there is plenty of talk of Tessa’s bio mom (who will eventually be played by Watchmen/Rock of Ages/Childrens Hospital star Malin Akerman). It’s great to check back in with George and Tessa, Dallas and Dalia as well as the crazy dysfunctional Shay family. You’ll see just how dysfunctional they are after watching “Homecoming.” Some more details about tonight’s episode:

Synopsis: In “Homecoming,” Tessa returns to Chatswin after spending the summer in NYC with her grandmother, and her burgeoning interest in her mom leaves George feeling threatened. In an effort to feel more connected to her mom’s musical side, Tessa takes up the guitar and signs up to sing in the Fall Follies. Meanwhile, Noah decides he wants Carmen to come back and work for him — and he gets into an all-out competition with Dallas over her — and Dalia becomes concerned over the idea of losing Carmen.
